Marc has held many distinguished positions in the Israel Police
Marc was the Israel Police Spokesman for the Foreign Press and VIP Journalists including amongst others "The New York Times", “CNN” and the "Wall Street Journal" during Israel's Disengagement Process.
Since 2001 Marc has been consulting, lecturing and teaching in the methods of Counter-Terrorism to many National and International agencies such as the New York Police Department, Connecticut State wide Anti-Terrorism task force, Florida Sheriffs Department, the Spanish Anti-Terror Unit, United States Counter Terrorism Bureau and United States Congressmen aids and advisors. Marc has spoken at many International conferences on the subject of “Delay, Deter and Detect” methods for containing and preventing not only terrorist attacks but also countering organized and violent crime.
In 2002 Marc was honored by the Israel Minister of Police and the Israel Police Chief for his innovation in preparing and implementing the "Kahlberg Plan", a secure zone concept which produced an over 70% drop in crime, in the Netanya Business and Tourist districts, as well as the apprehension and arrest of many suspects and perpetrator's. Today the implementation of the "Kahlberg Plan" is proving successful in Three Continents.
Marc is a frequent distinguished guest speaker at many International Conferences and Symposiums and is also critically acclaimed as a leading World authority Counter Terror methods and tactics.
Marc together with Jim Gort from Florida USA created one of the most successful Counter Terror Training Schools located in Israel.
Since 2006 Marc has been consulting to various local and government agencies throughout the World on pro-active defensive and protective security management methods with already proven results.
Marc is directly involved in providing security implementations for the 2010 Soccer World Cup to be held in South Africa.
Marc has been nominated for a prestigious award for business achievers
in South Africa.

Jim Gort
From
2003 through late 2007, Jim supervised a South Florida Police Anti-Terrorism
and Intelligence Unit as a Detective Sergeant. During this time, Jim was
also assigned to work with the Miami FBI-JTTF. He has been in Law Enforcement
since 1992, and prior to that, he served in the US Army as a Military Police
Officer in Germany and the Middle East. He has trained with German police
in Counter-Terrorism efforts and has worked with Saudi Arabian and Kuwaiti
Police.
Jim has served in varying capacities including Street Crimes Detective, Auto-Theft
Detective, Field Training Officer, K-9 Officer, K-9 Supervisor, Tactical Field
Force Supervisor and Training Unit Supervisor. After the attacks of September
11, 2001, Jim conceptualized and built from the ground up an Antiterrorism Unit
(ATU). This is one of only a handful of fully dedicated municipal Antiterrorism
Units in the United States.
As the ATU Supervisor his job duties included the responsibility for all investigations
with a perceived or actual nexus to terrorism, intelligence gathering and source
development, liaison with all Federal and State Agencies, maintaining cooperation
with the local business community and police, counter terrorism training of all
department personnel, critical infrastructure assessments, disaster response
planning, emergency management, policy direction in regards to homeland security,
and supervision of all detectives assigned to the ATU. Jim instructs and lectures
at counter terrorism seminars across the State of Florida. He trained in Israel
with amongst others, Marc Kahlberg, from the Israeli Police and other Authorities
in 2005 and 2007.
Jim has lectured as a distinguished key-note speaker at an International Counter-Terrorism
Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa. Jim has also trained and consulted
on-site to the South African Police Services, Tshwane (Pretoria) Metropolitan
Police and the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police through 2006 & 2007. Jim
was also involved in several threat and vulnerability assessments to critical
infrastructure leading up to the “FIFA” 2010 Soccer World Cup to be held in South
Africa.
Until earlier this year, Jim was a Managing Director of SCAI International,
an International Security Consulting and Training company, based solely in the
USA. His duties there included managing all operations in North and South America
as well as the Caribbean. He was responsible for developing several school critical
incident response plans, vulnerability assessments and training of school staff.
Jim also lectured to the North Carolina Police Executives Association on preventing
school violence and terrorism in 2006 and 2007. Jim is also an instructor at
the Broward Community College Institute of Public Safety where he instructs local
police officers in counter-terrorism efforts.
